Matt Mincone Headshot

Growing up in Long Island, New York, I had several family members that practiced law. During breaks from school I would work filling papers in the law office and overhear conversations regarding cases and battle stories of the court room trials. Initially I wasn’t inclined to follow the footsteps of my family members and after graduating college, started working in full-time in New York City’s financial district. Working at Fortune-500 companies in the big city kept me busy but I didn’t feel like my work was making a difference or a positive impact for people. At that point I decided to start taking night classes, while working full time, and earned my law degree from Touro College.

My legal career started at boutiques law firms in New York that built on my experience in finance, focusing on civil, business, real estate, corporate law, and trust & estates. This was great experience and created a bridge between my corporate experience and my legal career. I went on to work as House Counsel for a national insurance company, focusing on representation of insured parties in personal injury civil litigation. My experience working at the insurance companies has given me great insight now that I am representing people that have been injured or are challenging their insurance companies on coverage. Having a career at The Pawlowski//Mastrilli Law Group has allowed me to contribute in a meaningful way to lives of people that need someone on their side.
